At Chatsworth, we're committed to helping families navigate the complex digital landscape. Our PASS committee works to educate, engage, and support parents in making informed decisions about technology use for their children.

Our Initiatives

Educational Speakers: In partnership with the PT Council, we bring expert speakers to our community. In 2024, we hosted a fascinating Chat Tech Talk by Max Stossel - we encourage all parents to watch the recording.

Advocacy: We're collaborating with school administration and other elementary school PTAs to develop policies and procedures supporting healthy technology use across our community.

Parent Connections: Join our Chat Parent WhatsApp Technology Group to discuss all things tech-related (yes, we see the irony!).

Our Approach: We recognize that every family is unique, and has different policies and access at home. Our goal is to provide resources for all families to enhance safe device use, regardless of where they are in their technology journey.
